  This is a really fun place to go. Pasta is served family style so it's great if you have a crowd to feed. Decor is fun and interesting, kid friendly, service is excellent. But I find the food just OK. And it's always very noisy.

  I've been to several Bucas, but this one was a bit disappointing.
  
  I made a reservation for a party of 8. When I arrived, I found we'd been put in a 4-person booth with a table and two chairs. Thankfully, one of our group couldn't make it or there would be no way we'd have all fit into that small space. It was quite cramped.
  
  The service also left a lot to be desired. Granted, it was quite busy, but it seemed that we were forgotten about quite often. The young lady, who I guess was assigned to our table, hardly ever came around. There was a young man who seemed eager to help, and he tended to us most of the time. That saved the evening.
  
  My recommendation: don't be afraid to turn down a reservation if you don't have the capacity to handle it properly. The 20-person birthday dinner, understandably, took up a lot of space. I would have been more inclined to visit again based on a "sorry we're full at that time" rather than being shoved into a small corner.
  
  The food was excellent, much as I'd expect from Buca. A plus on an otherwise less-than-optimal experience.

  Didn't think a restaurant could be cruel to a child but this placed managed to do it. My 8byear old asked to go here for his birthday. Told the waitress it was his birthday as soon as we got there. Slow service as usual. End of the dinner comes and we are preparing to leave and they start lighting candles and my kid starts getting excited. And then they walk right past him to sing happy birthday to some adult behind us. It was terrible. I complained to the manager how mean that was and she just shrugged me and offered to sing next time we came in. Like that matters to a kid. Atrocious, uncaring place. Never again.

  I love this restaurant! This was my first time eating here and it did not disappoint. It's family style and the servings are generous. We got the spaghetti and meatballs which tasted like my homemade, so good! The meatballs were HUGE! Also got the Italian soda which I loved but some may think it's too sweet. Would definitely eat here...
